We’re pleased to announce that significant improvement works are set to begin at Ipswich Beacon Marina, marking a major milestone in the continued development of the Ipswich Waterfront.
Removal works are to begin on Tuesday 27th May, which will be followed, subject to approval of planning condition, by the installation of the replacement pontoons, which will include piling.
The official Notice to Mariners outlines the commencement date for the removal of the pontoons on the northern side of the marina, as well as the following key information:
Activity 1.1: Removal of existing Marine Infrastructure within Ipswich Beacon Marina.
Activity 1.2: Installation of Replacement Pontoons, including piling.
The time taken to complete the licensed activities is expected to be up to two months. The duration of piling works is anticipated to be 5 days.’
